Here’s a little bit of back story on my mule Castro:

It’s been 9 months of winning my mules trust, now that I have it we finally allowed someone else to ride him. This was a huge step for Castro. Normally he wouldn’t let most folks in his space much less mount him. My friend and experienced rider has been the first beside me to ride him since we got him back in May. This mule has been through a lot. We’re blessed to know most of his life story despite the fact he has been through 7 hands of ownership that we know of in a short time. He had a good set of training at some point but lost the trust of people and was on the dangerous side. God truly brought us together, and here we are 9 months later doing things that exceeded my expectations. I’m beyond thankful. Our journey has been I feel unique and special to my heart. It has been a tremendous amount of growth for both of us. One day I hope, we can make it to mules days in Bishop. I don’t think we’re quite ready yet, but getting closer!
