Описание: The Vulnerable Adult Support Team (VAST) has changed lives, saved lives and is now integral to the Emergency Department at Southampton General Hospital. Patients who attend ED as a result of domestic violence, substance use, alcohol abuse, homelessness and other psychosocial needs often require help that goes far beyond immediate clinical treatment. This is when VAST become involved.

This pioneering approach to adult at risk care is overwhelmingly supported by ED staff and local agencies. This video tells that story.
