Описание: The first Medicaid Advisory Committee (MAC) meeting of 2026 was held on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026, in Reno, Nevada. Medicaid Administrator Ann Jensen delivered her administrator’s report, which included updates on Statewide Managed Care – launched January 1st, 2026 – as well as a brief overview of active legislative bills and an update on Children’s Behavioral Health initiatives. The meeting featured a presentation on key assembly and senate bills with implications for Medicaid in Nevada, covering the purpose of each bill, effective dates, and current implementation status. The MAC also received presentations on the Oral Health Diabetic 1115 Waiver and the single Preferred Drug List. The meeting concluded with several discussion items, including a review of Statewide Managed Care in which members were invited to share feedback on what went well, any obstacles encountered, and areas for improvement. Additional discussions covered the MACs annual report and finalization of the MAC workplan. Members provided input on goals, objectives, key activities, and deliverables. Now approved, the MAC workplan will provide structure for future meetings and serve as a guide for potential agenda items throughout the remainder of 2026.
