MP for Evalue Ajomoro Gwira and VALCO board member, Kofi Arko Nokoe, has stated that the state-owned aluminium company should not be sold.
Responding to concerns from the Industrial and Commercial Workers’ Union (ICU), he emphasized that discussions are focused on revamping and repositioning VALCO to boost operations, ensure sustainability, and add value. CEO Dr. Robert Makila Sambian also highlighted the company’s key priorities for strengthening performance in the coming year.
