Lacuna: The Cyber-Noir Mystery Game (2018 Trailer)

Описание: Lacuna is a Cyber-Noir mystery game, with players take on the role of Nox, a private investigator. However, they aren't solving crimes that have happened, but crimes that are GOING to happen.

With the help of mysterious messages containing photos of the impending crime scene, the player unravels mysteries in a gritty cyberpunk city. Investigate suspects and piece together clues using the unique Clue Board mechanic, in order to find the true culprit of the crime before it ever transpires.

Lacuna was the winner of the Freeplay 2018 Student Game Award, and was one of six finalists at the Game Connect Asia Pacific 2017 Student Showcase. In addition, various versions of the game have been shown off during development at OzComicCon 2017, PAX Australia 2017, RTX Australia 2018, and Supanova 2018.

It was a prototype narrative game created mainly in 12 weeks as a major student project for the Academy of Interactive Entertainment, though we have been working on it since then to polish the project further to a point where we are happy to put it publicly online. We wanted to create a game which had a striking pixel art style, with mechanics which engage the players in different ways than we had seen previously.
