All costumes are showcased for Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine.
S.T.A.R.S. Classic outfits + Code Veronica X. Army Jill, Casual (Jill RE3) & BSAA Lost in Nightmare's Jill & Chris Outfits.

Alternate Costumes:
Complete the game once on any difficulty to gain the Special Key to open the costume room where you can change your clothes after completing the game the required amount of times.
However, in REmaster HD, you will be able to select the costumes from the character select screen

Jill's Sarah Connor costume: Complete the game once with Jill on any difficulty.

Jill's Resident Evil 3 costume: Clear the game twice with Jill on any difficulty.

Chris' The Mexican costume: Clear the game once with Chris on any difficulty to unlock his costume, where he dresses up like Brad Pitt from the movie The Mexican. Rebecca also changes her costume to look like Julia Roberts from The Mexican (Rebecca's cowgirl costume).

Chris' CODE Veronica costume: Clear the game twice with Chris on any difficulty.

The BSAA costumes come at the start of the game.

Rocket Launcher:
To get the Rocket Launcher, beat the game in under 3 hours on Normal or Hard mode.

Samurai Edge:
After beating the game on normal difficulty in 5 hours or less with either Chris or Jill, you will have access to the Samurai Edge during the next game.

Unlocking Modes:
Once Again Mode: Complete the game once with any character to unlock Once Again mode.

One Dangerous Zombie Mode:
Complete the game as both Chris and Jill one time to unlock the ''One Dangerous Zombie'' option. A special zombie will continue to follow you around during the first part of the game. Shooting this zombie will end the game, so you must avoid it during gameplay.

Real Survival Mode:
Beat the game once on normal mode

Invisible Enemy Mode:
To unlock this mode, beat the game on hard mode at least once.

Resident Evil is a survival horror video game developed by Capcom Production Studio 4 and published by Capcom. Released for the GameCube video game console in 2002, it is a remake of the 1996 PlayStation game Resident Evil, the first instalment in the Resident Evil video game series.

This Video is AVPD Enhanced. I have remastered my gameplay by enhancing my game's colour, lighting, visuals, and sound. In my opinion, this makes the game look, feel, and sound more realistic and cinematic. The gameplay has been recoloured, graded, and enhanced.
