Here we have three tracks from a cleaned up 1964 recording of George Blackmore playing the Compton Theatre organ in the Guildhall Southampton. This unique 1937 John Compton Organ in the Guildhall is a dual purpose organ having a theatre Console 4/30(31) ranks and concert console 4/40(41) Here he plays the theater console of this outstanding duel purpose Compton organ. I have always loved the tune Estrellita and very much like George Blackmore's arrangement and styling played here on the Southampton Guildhall Compton Theater organ console.
