The Dubai Fountain is the world’s largest musical fountain and Dubai ‘s most popular attraction which is totally free for the tourists. It is Set on the 30-acre manmade Burj Khalifa Lake which is in the center of the Downtown Dubai development in Dubai, this idea was designed by WET Design, The name of the fountain was chosen by the developer Emaar Properties in February 2009, the testing of the fountain was began and the fountain’s opening ceremony at Dubai Mall along with official inauguration was on 8 May 2009.
The Dubai Fountain is able to spray 22,000 gallons (83,000 liters) of water in the air any time. There are 25 colors and about 6,600 lights are installed. At the end of 2010, the fire element also added to the fountain which was shown in the celebrations of the new year of 2011. The Dubai Fountain project the water in the air consists of many different patterns and combinations. From about 20 miles away the beam of light from the fountain can be seen.
