amazing Hewlett Packard unit from about 1960 that can measure frequency from 10MHz to 12GHz (not kidding) it uses a harmonic mixer and zero beat methode, ofcourse you need to know about what frequency you expect to measure, else it will not work. this unit miss a 6C4/6135/EC90 tube in the osc section, funny it actually works without this tube :-)
