Описание: Mary Read was an English pirate active in the early 1700s, best known for sailing with Calico Jack Rackham and fellow female pirate Anne Bonny. Disguised as a man for much of her life, she fought as a soldier and sailor before turning to piracy. Bold and skilled in combat, she was captured in 1720 and imprisoned in Jamaica, where she died of illness in 1721. #straycookie
