Hi.
Daman holds Portuguese values and traditions because the Portuguese, like the British, once ruled over Goa, Daman, Diu and Silvassa (DNH). Things changed on the 19th of December of 1961. The Indian army, with the help of the locals, took back Daman, Diu and DNH from the Portuguese.
I've combined 2 Gopro Hero 9 Black video clips to bring out the beauty of Daman for you. I drove from Moti Daman Marketplace to Small Daman Devka Beach and back. I apologize for the distortion in the centre of the clips where I have combined the 2 videos.
I appreciate the efforts that the present Hon'ble Administrator, Daman, Diu & DNH has put into the beautification of Daman. No previous Administrator or higher authority has ever done what this humanitarian has done. The place not only preserves it's previous beauty, but, also creates an opportunity for others. Especially, for the poor. My hat off to you, Sir.
