Gilbert is 38 years old and still searching for his birth father. He was born in Olongapo in 1976 to a Filipina mother an African American Father. He was adoptee at a very young age and has no information on who his biological father may be. Now The Leah and Blair Slog have given Gilbert a donated Ancestry DNA Test kit and we are hoping this will us clues as to who Gilbert's father is. Now three months later the Ancestry DNA test results are back it shows Gilbert’s father was 40 percent Nigerian and gave us some 1st to 2nd cousin matches who are living in America, Now with these results members of the Nunnery, Patterson family are thought to have the greatest chance of fielding Gilbert’s African American father. We are hoping someone watching this video recognizes some of these DNA matches and asks them to reach out to The Leah and Blair Slog so we can send them a DNA test kit in the hope we can get a closer match to Gilbert and reunite him with his U.S biological father.
