Описание: Seit 2018 findet sich der Name ALTO in der KTM Rennrad-Palette. ALTO steht abgewandelt aus dem Italienischen/Spanischen für „hoch hinaus“ und soll damit in der Namensgebung den Einsatz als Berggämse widerspiegeln. Zusammen mit unserer bereits dritten Teilnahme an der Tour de France präsentieren wir auch die dritte Neuauflage des REVELATOR ALTO. Bei der Entwicklungsarbeit wurde auf das Feedback der Profis zurückgegriffen und die Erfahrungswerte aus den härtesten Radrennen der Welt eingearbeitet. Zudem durchlief der neue ALTO Rahmen die härteste Testphase der KTM-Geschichte. Bereits die Vorserien- Prototypen wurden in die „Hölle des Nordens“ geschickt und bekamen am Pavé von „Paris-Roubaix“ ihre Feuertaufe. Zeitgleich wurde im Windkanal an der perfekten Aerodynamik gefeilt. Die finalen Werte bestätigen sowohl die idealen Klettereigenschaften als auch den geringen Luftwiederstand des ALTOS schwarz auf weiß. Gleich auf Anhieb fuhr der französische Bergspezialist Pierre Rolland mit dem neuen ALTO Rahmen ins Bergtrikot der Dauphiné Rundfahrt. Einige Erfolgsgeschichten in diesem neuen Kapitel der KTM Fahrrad Geschichte sind bereits geschrieben und wir warten mit Spannung auf viele weitere. Die Reise der ersten Serienrahmen führt von Mattighofen, über Kopenhagen, bis auf den Champs Élysées nach Paris.
Pünktlich zur Präsentation und kurz vor dem Start der Tour de France durften wir das brandneue KTM Revelator Alto Exonic montieren.


Since 2018, the name ALTO has been part of the KTM road bike range. ALTO stands for "high up" and is intended to reflect the use as a mountain bike in the naming. Together with our third participation in the Tour de France, we are also presenting the third new edition of the REVELATOR ALTO. During the development work, we drew on feedback from the pros and incorporated the experience gained from the toughest bike races in the world. In addition, the new ALTO frame underwent the toughest testing phase in KTM history. The pre-series prototypes were already sent to the "Hell of the North" and received their baptism of fire at the pavé of "Paris-Roubaix". At the same time, the perfect aerodynamics were fine-tuned in the wind tunnel. The final values confirm both the ideal climbing characteristics and the low air resistance of the ALTOS in black and white. The French mountain specialist Pierre Rolland rode straight into the mountain jersey of the Dauphiné Tour with the new ALTO frame. Some success stories have already been written in this new chapter of KTM bike history and we eagerly await many more. The journey of the first production frames leads from Mattighofen, via Copenhagen, to the Champs Élysées in Paris.
Just in time for the presentation of the bike and shortly before the start of the Tour de France, we were allowed to mount the brand new KTM Revelator Alto Exonic.
