Colts - First Rides

Описание: This is a video of Stretch when she was 2 years old. I put some more video clips together and Tom did another voice over. While we were in Arizona in October Tom had several people come up to him and say she is such a nice mare and she moves so smooth. It's a good feeling when people notice your horses.
The video shows how Tom would pony Stretch with our group of ladies at Pacifica, in Williams, OR and then riding her there. In November 2022, Tom took her to the Oregon Horse Center, in Eugene, OR for her first show at the Mountain Trail Championship at 2 1/2 years old. He had about 30 rides before he took her to this show.
He was teaching her and exposing her to going places. On his first ride at Pacifica, she was comfortable because everything was so familiar. She is very social and likes being part of a group. We have a great group of confident riders on seasoned horses.
When we went to the show, she did all the obstacles and listened to Tom guide her through the change of patterns each day. They were on a team while at this competition and picked up a check for 6th place. Which was definitely a bonus. Tom was just wanting her to get experience and learn something new with no expectations. 💕🏇
