I didn’t expect Guatapé to hit me the way it did.
I came here to climb La Piedra del Peñol, this massive rock in the middle of Colombia — but what really stayed with me was the town itself. The colors, the people, the vibe… it felt like walking through a dream I didn’t know I needed.
In this vlog, I take you with me up over 700 stairs to see one of the most insane views I’ve ever witnessed, and then I explore the streets of Guatapé — under the famous umbrellas, through alleyways full of life, and into a little spot where I grab an arepa with cheese and butter that somehow felt like the perfect bite in that moment.
Guatapé used to be a place people avoided. Now? It might be one of the most beautiful towns in Colombia. And I think it changed something in me.
