Aje is the spiritual energy that is responsible for the control of wealth, trade, economic growth, prosperity, and any type of currency. Aje is the daughter of Olokun. She is an extremely paramount Orisa that anybody who really wants wealth, economic prosperity, growth and maintenance of wealth and anybody who has consecrated Aje Shaluga and appeases or propitiates her well will never lack in any form of trade. The importance of Aje Shaluga cannot be overrated hence the odu ifa oyeku owonrin says that it is advised we greet Aje in the morning before we greet Ifa. Her symbol is the large cowrie shell. This prayer song is based on actual sacred prayers from Odu Ifa in their English translation. Much creative license has been taken to create this piece.
