‘La Guagua 47’ is a one-of-a-kind community cultural production that engaged over 1,000 Philadelphia artists and community members in its creation. The film tells the story of a young Latinx migrant who arrives in Philadelphia and feels lonely. One day she discovers the magical SEPTA 47 bus and she embarks on an adventure that changes her life. La Guagua 47 touches on universal topics like migration, belonging, and finding community. It features the work of Latino artists representing many cultural traditions, all united by their love of Latinidad.
