Описание: 1. Check Ink Levels (Tank Printers Lie Sometimes)

Even if tanks look like they have ink:

Make sure all tanks (Black + Color) are above the minimum line

If a tank ran empty before, air gets into the ink tubes → causes blank prints

👉 If ink was ever very low, jump to Step 3 (Ink Flush / Deep Cleaning)

✅ 2. Print a Nozzle Check Pattern (VERY IMPORTANT)

This tells us what’s blocked.

On the printer:

Turn printer ON

Hold the STOP/Cancel button

When the power light flashes twice, release

It prints a test page.

What you might see:
Result Meaning
Totally blank page Ink not reaching head at all
Missing lines Partially clogged
Only color prints, no black Black nozzle blocked
Only black prints, no color Color head clogged
✅ 3. Run Cleaning / Deep Cleaning

On your computer:

Windows:

Control Panel → Devices & Printers

Right-click Canon G3410 → Printing Preferences

Maintenance tab

Click Cleaning → Run

Then do Nozzle Check again

If still blank:

➡ Run Deep Cleaning (uses more ink)

Do max 2 times — not more or you waste ink.

🚨 4. Still Blank? Do Ink Flush / System Cleaning

This model is a tank printer — air in tubes = no ink flow.

In Maintenance tab look for:

“Ink Flush” or “System Cleaning”

This pushes ink through the tubes.

⚠ This uses a lot of ink but is often the REAL fix.

🔧 5. Check the Ink Tubes

Open the scanner lid and look inside.

You should see ink tubes running from tanks to print head.

✔ Tubes should be full of ink
❌ If you see air gaps or empty tubes, ink is not reaching the head

That means:

Printer ran dry before

Needs Ink Flush OR manual priming (technician job)

🧼 6. Print Head Might Be Blocked (Common)

If cleaning doesn’t help:

Manual head clean:

Open printer

Remove ink head (the cartridge-like unit)

Put bottom metal part in warm distilled water

Leave 10–15 minutes

Dry completely

Reinstall

This dissolves dried ink.

❗ 7. Check This Small Thing (Often Missed)

Make sure:

The orange tape was removed when printer was new

Cartridges/print head are clicked in properly

Paper type isn’t set to photo glossy when using normal paper

💀 Worst Case (Rare)

If still blank after:

Cleaning

Deep cleaning

Ink flush

Manual head clean

Then:

🔴 Print head is electrically damaged
Needs new print head
