Recorded 2013 in UDK Berlin.
Such a great time. I keep telling my students that chamber music is the one single reason, why I love playing cello. Not concertos, not even Bach or other solo works. Chamber music, best if its really challenging, is most fun! And the good thing is: If you do lots of it, you build a network - constantly. Great to see, that my three friends really found a great professional spot as well: Byol Kang is concert master in Deutsches Sinfonieorchester Berlin (DSO), Sara Kim, we even played some fun duos, is now solo viola at Gewandhaus Orchester Leipzig and teaches at Musikhochschule München. Martin Klett is one of the most sought after pianists in Germany and is also teaching at Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Musikhochschule in Leipzig and Detmold Musikhochschule. We both studied in Lübeck as well...
What a dream team. Actually, would be great to get together again and re-record this work. What do you think?
