Описание: Skandagiri, also known as Kalavara Durga, is a hill fortress located near the town of Chikballapur in Karnataka, India. It is a popular trekking destination and is known for its beautiful sunrise views.

The trek to Skandagiri hilltop is a moderate-level trek and 70kms from Bangalore, usually takes around 4-5 hours to complete. The trek starts early in the morning, First slot at 4 AM and second slot at 8 AM, to reach the hilltop before sunrise. The trail passes through dense forests and rocky terrain, and trekkers need to be careful while ascending and descending the steep slopes.
