Midland 75-785 Portable CB Review | Trucking Answers

Описание: This Midland 75-785 portable handheld CB radio is what I use everyday. In my operation it is possible for me to come in and my truck not be there. Mounting a CB is not a great idea. A truly portable handheld CB radio is the answer for me and maybe for you. Simply plug this CB in the 12V power plug and you are talking. This Midland CB also has a high and low power switch. It can be run on batteries and that is why you might want to use low power, also if you were using it to talk to someone close. The good about this Midland truly portable CB is that it is just that, portable. In 5 seconds you plug it in and you have a working 40 channel full 4 watt CB. The downside is because of the antenna and it being in the cab you only get a half mile, maybe a little farther in the best conditions. As always, batteries are not included. I think it is well build and it tolerates some daily abuse that I give it. I use it every day in the truck. It is a good CB for what it is. Don't spend hundreds of dollars on a portable CB, it isn't worth it. If you need a CB that can go wherever you go this truly portable Midland 75-785 CB is for you.
