In this video, I test three common canned tomato options — passata, chopped tomatoes, and whole peeled tomatoes — and turn them into pizza sauce using different seasoning methods.
Same dough.
Same oven.
Same toppings.
Only the sauce changes.
First, I compare unseasoned passata, dry seasoning, and fresh garlic & basil to see what really makes a difference.
Then I prepare sauces from chopped and whole tomatoes to find out if the extra work is actually worth it.
