LoraTap wifi light socket works only with the Smart Life/Tuya Smart app provided by Tuya Inc., which requires a separate 2.4GHz wifi network. In case your wifi network is a 2.4GHz and 5GHz dual band wifi network, please separate the two wifi bands in your wifi router so that you can get a 2.4GHz wifi network to do setup.

Please note that LoraTap wifi light socket works with most light bulbs except the incandescent light since it withstand a heat less than 120 degrees while a working incandescent light will be over 150 degrees, which can damage the LoraTap light socket and it adds about 1.58inch(4cm) to the light fixture.
