in todays video we explored an abandoned school and training centre that since its closure has sadly become a target from fly tipping, arsonists and squaters.
rotherham council have successfully prosecuted a company ( millside developments ) for failing to comply with notices they were served to secure the building and get rid of all the rubbish that was scattered about the grounds, after fire crews were called out to the location 5 times in one year after fires had been reported in reported in 2021 and 2022.
the company who never appeared at court where found guilty in thier absence on the grounds of anti social behaviour, crime and policing act 2014 and environmental protection act 1990. they were also fined £5,000 and ordered to pay £2,819 costs and a victim surcharge of £2,000.
