To transfer from Sayak Airport to General Luna, vans are usually the best way to go.

Most vans charge 300 pesos per person.

If you haven't made any arrrangements, do not fret, there are vans offering their services outside the airport.

The travel time usually takes 30-45 minutes.

FYI, we paid P 5,590 for two nights.
Here are some of the things I liked about Viento Del Mar:

1. Their breakfast choices are amazing. As you'll see in my next Siargao vlogs, their breakfast choices are BOTH visually and gastronomically satisfying

2. Bed comforter was really soft and nice.

3. Even though they're playing loud music, we can barely hear the music, in our room at least.

4. They had an excellent location. Close to top restaurants and habal-habal friendly.

5. They had contacts for transportation. Even if I booked their transfers last minute, they still obliged.

6. There's free drinking water onsite and wifi too.

7. Staff, management and owners are all super friendly.

8. The room itself had high ceilings adding a spacious feel to it.

9. There are lounges to chill at on all three floors.

10. They even provide books and other reading materials.

11. Most importantly, they had beach front access.

Sadly, the excitement ends there for their bathroom.
here are some of the issues I had with their nicely designed bathroom:

1. They did not have a water heater so it was such a struggle to take a shower since you can very well feel the airconditioning inside the restroom

2. They did not have a shower curtain so our whole bathroom floor was always wet after every shower.

3. Since they had rainfall shower, it was difficult to take a shower without getting your hair wet.

4. Their water was very salty, so we had to use drinking water for brushing our teeth.
