Processing Community Day（簡稱PCD）是致力於提倡和推廣創意編碼平台「Processing」的活動。Processing是一個開源的程式語言和開發環境，專為視覺藝術、數位設計和互動專案而設計。它提供了一個友善且易於使用的平台，供藝術家、設計師、教育工作者以及對創意編碼有興趣的人創建互動數位體驗。

2021 年 C-LAB 舉辦了臺灣第一屆「Processing 臺灣國際社群日」，從「多元」、「公眾」及「教育」的觀點出發，帶領大眾一同回顧程式的發展、探索當今的趨勢，並共創未來的科技想像。今年，偶發集合（SpOnAcT）以「編碼作為行動 Code As Acts」思考創意程式設計在進入社會與不同領域交織下的可能性，以及海內外團體曾經與正在進行的各種努力。

從「編碼x藝術、編碼x社會、編碼x教育」三大主題，我們將號召藝術家、創意工程師、設計師、自由駭客、公民組織、教育工作者等，一同參與技術分享和經驗交流活動，以思考打造更具包容性的工具與社群的可能。無論你來自什麼背景，讓我們一起在線上集合！以實際行動豐富我們對於編碼的理解。

🔔 Daniel Shiffman | NYU-ITP 副教授

Daniel Shiffman works as an Associate Arts Professor at the Interactive Telecommunications Program at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. He's on a mission to share creative coding with the world in a fun, approachable way. On his YouTube channel, The Coding Train, he publishes videos covering the basics of programming languages like JavaScript (with p5.js) and Java (with Processing) to generative algorithms like physics simulation, computer vision, and data visualization.

丹尼爾·希夫曼 (Daniel Shiffman) 是紐約大學 Tsich 藝術學院互動通訊科系的副教授。 他以一種有趣、平易近人的方式與世界分享創意編碼。 在他的YouTube 頻道 The Coding Train 裡，他發布許多內容涵蓋 JavaScript（p5.js）和Java（Processing）相關編碼語言的影片講解基礎知識、物理模擬、電腦視覺和資料視覺化等主題。
