Space boom benefits full all of Alabama, including Birmingham

Описание: Huntsville’s rise in the space world isn’t new, but the pace and scale of what’s happening now signal a major shift. With U.S. Space Command relocating and federal space and defense operations rapidly building around it, the city’s influence is deepening across the state — and Birmingham stands to benefit in ways only now coming into focus.

That was the message from a recent BBJ panel on Alabama’s Space Race featuring Damon Feltman, incoming CEO of the Space Force Association; Steven Taylor, senior vice president for research and economic development at Auburn University; and Ellis Brazeal, an aerospace engineer–turned–expert in space law with Jones Walker LLP.
