I've noticed a number of requests to feature more from the late-great Ronnie Montrose on the channel, and I've also spotted a few requests for this often-overlooked side-project that Ronnie formed in 1979 known as Gamma. Anyway, it's been over four years since the Montrose Chordplay lesson that I created for the channel, so if you're a Ronnie Montrose or Gamma fan, this episode will rock your socks - so let's dive in!

This lesson revolves around a handful of chord-based and rhythm guitar ideas pulled from the first three Gamma albums. They did release a fourth album in 2000, but we're hitting the classic music/releases from the group in this lesson. This includes sections of songs such as Razor King, Thunder And Lightning, Ready For Action, Fight To The Finish, Skin And Bone, Voyager, and Moving Violation - to name a few!
