"The record is better than I remember. I created all the loops with a broken reel-to-reel in my apartment. I stretched the loops around my apartment on microphone stands and recorded the playback on a four-track cassette recorder. Trey did the computer related production work. We divided the four-track tape recordings into three pieces and reversed each piece for a total of six tracks. We added low frequency tones on the original tracks and added hidden tracks with a lower frequency tone, maybe 10 hertz. The original mix was intentionally quiet so that the low frequency tones would cause physical damage to both the listener and their speakers when the record was played at a reasonable volume.
