Ayodhya sets up tourist assistance centre to manage surging devotee footfall

Описание: In Ayodhya, authorities have set up a dedicated Tourist Assistance Centre to manage the growing influx of devotees visiting for Ram Lalla’s darshan. Located near Lata Chowk and Naya Ghat, the centre acts as a one-stop help desk, guiding pilgrims on routes, facilities, and key attractions. Commissioner Rajesh Kumar said the initiative aims to provide proper information and ensure smooth navigation across the temple town. Mayor Girish Pati Tripathi highlighted that with over 11 crore visitors last year, infrastructure and civic amenities are being strengthened. Officials added that app-based services have also been introduced to offer seamless digital support for tourists.
