25-Year-Old DW Collector's Snare vs New | Hear the Difference

Описание: How much have snare drums changed over the years? Let's compare two DW Collector's snare drums built 25 years apart. We'll compare the sound and build changes between these two industry leading snare drums.

Our "old" snare will be a DW Pre Collector's maple shell 10+6 configuration. This is really a Keller made shell. And the "new" snare will be a DW Collector's Purpleheart which uses the VLT configuration.

We'll have a ton of A/B sound tests between these 2 snare drums so you can hear the tone differences.
