Late one night, a little fellow named Mortimer found himself put to
bed with instruction from his mother to "Be quiet!" Mortimer,
however, had other ideas - and he began singing a catchy, noisy
little song that soon had his mother and his father, his sisters, his
brothers and the police very wide awake!
Animation adapted from illustrations by Michael Martchenko, whose visual humor
takes its inspiration from his childhood passion - watching cartoons. Since 1980,
Martchenko's zany imagination has proven to be a perfect match for stories by
Robert Munsch.
