Then what do you do if your child is regularly seeing ghosts in your home? Ghosts you can’t see, but you do find proof that what she’s saying sure does not seem made up. Reading about the steps that are required for formerly incarcerated people to even begin to build their life again was an eye opener and I say this as someone who has a family member who is a felon. I guess I just didn’t comprehend the obstacles. Sustainable Alamance has this quote on their website and I just love it: Poverty is not a lack of money but a lack of resources. We believe that you can “give a man fish” (charity) and even “teach a man to fish” (grace and mercy) but we must also ensure access to the lake (hope and justice).
