ବିଲାତି କିଲୋ ୨ଟଙ୍କା। ଚାଷୀ ବିଲାତି କିଲୋ ୨ ଟଙ୍କାରେ ବେପାରିକୁ ଦେବା ଫଳରେ ମଜୁରୀ ମଧ୍ୟ ଉଠୁନାହିଁ। ଯାହା ଫଳରେ ଚାଷ ଜମିରୁ ଚାଷୀ ବିଲାତି ନତୋଳି ଛାଡ଼ି ଦେଉଛି। ବିଲାତି ଗୁଡିକ ପଚିଷଢି ନଷ୍ଟ ହେଉଛି।
Tomato farmers are facing huge losses as the price of tomatoes has dropped to just ₹2 per kilogram. Due to such extremely low prices, farmers say they cannot even recover labour costs.
As a result, many farmers are leaving the tomatoes unharvested in the fields, where the produce is rotting and getting wasted. Farmers say they are being forced into distress selling due to the price crash.
