I recently got this camera after nearly a month of research and testing my friends' cameras and I absolutely love it!
2017 update: This camera is still the best! Nikon D3400 and D5600 came out but with little to no improvements, which only means that the price of this camera is going down making it more affordable! :)

UPDATE:
New video highlighting the biggest mistakes of popular camera manufacturers and I can confirm that the liveview touch focus works beautifully on the D5500 but to be completely honest, the video autofocus is not as good as on Canon cameras, but pretty damn close. :)
