RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
6 Tbsp Butter, Unsalted (Divided in half)
1 Medium Yellow Onion, Sliced
2 tsp SMOKE STACK
1 Lb 80/20 Ground Beef
1/4 tsp STEAK DUST (for each burger)
4 Slices American Cheese
4 Slices Smoked Cheddar (or cheese of choice)
8 Slices FRESH Sourdough Bread
1) Get a griddle set over medium heat and allow to preheat for 10 minutes.
2) While that's heating up, make 2 oz meatballs for your smash burgers
3) After you've made your meatballs, your griddle should be hot and ready to throw down 2 Tbsp of your butter along with your sliced onions. Season these with your SMOKE STACK for a smoky kick.
4) While those are cooking, add the rest of the butter to another side of the griddle and lay down your sourdough bread to get toasty on both sides. Once one side of the bread is toasted, flip and add each of the cheeses to each slice. Remove from the griddle once cheese is melted.
5) Slap down the meatballs and sprinkle each one with about 1/4 tsp of STEAK DUST and press thin with a burger press. Let those cook for about 1 minute before giving them a flip and finishing them with another 30 seconds.
6) Remove from the griddle and slap them down onto the toasted bread, top with onions, and ENJOY.
