"Tippecanoe and Indiana Too!" A Statehood Bicentennial Event Commemorates the 205th Anniversary of the Battle of Tippecanoe and Celebrates the 200th anniversary of Indiana joining the Union in 1816. The location is the historic Tippecanoe Battlefield in Battle Ground, IN.
The event is sponsored by Yankee Doodle Muzzleloaders (Rick and Leslie Conwell) The 7th US Infantry Living History Association, Tippecanoe County Historical Association and the Tippecanoe Parks and Recreation Department.
The overall Military commander is COL Steve Abolt 7th USI, who commanded the 2011 Bicentennial observance. Overseeing all other aspects is his Tippecanoe Twin, the one and only, Leslie Martin Conwell.
This is not a battle. It is a living history program celebrating and commemorating Indiana's rich and storied past. Event participant information is being distributed through this page sponsored by the 7th US Infantry Living History Association.
