"I am extremely nervous. I'm running to the bathroom every two seconds. You know, it's a great thing. It's an honor to be returning to the runway but you I'm not going to lie. It's been nervewracking because it's the biggest day of Fashion Week. I'm closing it out. I'm with the headliners, with the big boys, Ralph Lauren and Marc Jacobs. But I'm here. I'm like the New York Giants. I'm the underdog of the situation so I'm coming to make some noise and have a good time. "The fashion business is my passion. It's not just a business for me. It's a love. There are certain things that are businesses for me and I'm good at marketing and I'm good at doing that, whether it's my relationship with Ciroc or Cadillac, these are partners that kind of go with my aesthetic of aspirations in luxury but fashion has kind of helped me to get to that point to even reaping those benefits because of what I've done with Sean John and Unforgivable, a lot of these brands want to be associated with me, so it's definitely a proud time."

"I think that everything that I do is destined. This show was destined from God. Everything that I'm doing is touched and is God's plan and I think that's one of my secrets to success. "I mean that's powerful man. That's big for all of us that give us a spotlight to shine a little, cause most of the time when we go to casting it's not really like that. It's more white guys than black and it's hard for us because it's like we're all the same you know. We should be able to do the same as everybody else. I believe that the runway should be mixed at every show, you know."

BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL
After a 5 year hiatus Sean John returned to the runway during New York's Fashion Week for Fall 2008.
As for the clothes -- they were were inspired by a fictional prince in the year 2020 who discovers himself as he embarks on a journey through love and war and ultimately becomes the great leader he is destined to be.
"The fashion business is my passion," Combs told AP.
Combs says he wants to show that 'black is beautiful.''
