VERSE
“If ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people for all the earth is mine” Exodus 19:5

EXPLANATION
I am delighted to greet you in this new month in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. God has carried us through the past month. He has protected us, preserved our lives, and given us the grace to see this new month of February. Let us thank Him with grateful hearts. As you step into this new month, may God bless you abundantly and surround your life with His goodness.

Today the Lord speaks a promise to your heart through Exodus 19:5. God calls His people His own special possession. This promise is not based on how others see you, but on how God has chosen you.

We live in a time where people are busy from morning till night. Many forget to love, care, or even acknowledge one another. Parents forget children, children forget parents, and relationships are broken. Some parents are abandoned as if they no longer matter. This is the painful reality of our world today.

There was once a man and a woman who had a son. The child suffered physically and emotionally. He could not eat, sleep, or play properly. The father grew weary and wanted to abandon the child. But the mother chose love. She decided to raise the child with care and devotion. Because of her love, the child slowly healed. He grew stronger, found purpose, and later became a blessing to many. What a wonderful God we serve.

Beloved, do you feel abandoned or unloved today? Are you afraid that no one cares for you? The Word of God comforts you saying, “When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up” Psalm 27:10. You are not forgotten. You are precious to your Creator.

You are God’s chosen possession, as declared in Exodus 19:5. Even if friends, family, or relatives turn away, the loving Father remains with you. God sees every tear and every silent pain. He will surely turn your sorrow into joy.

Jesus Himself said, “If ye love me, keep my commandments” John 14:15. Loving God is shown through obedience. When we walk in His commandments, we belong to Him and He reveals Himself to us.

The Bible also reminds us, “For ye are bought with a price” 1 Corinthians 6:20. Jesus paid the price with His own blood. You are not ordinary. You are chosen, redeemed, and deeply valued by God. When God chooses you, He also prepares blessings for your life in His perfect time. Do not be anxious if things seem delayed. God’s storehouse is never empty.

PRAYER
Dear Father,
I thank You for choosing me as Your own possession. You have bought me, and I belong to You alone. You knew me even before I was formed in my mother’s womb. Though people may reject or forget me, You have accepted me as Your child. Your unfailing love comforts my heart and removes my fear. I am not an orphan, for You are my Father who provides all my needs. Teach me to love You, obey Your commands, and trust in Your perfect timing. Keep my heart pure and help me hear Your voice clearly. I surrender my life completely into Your hands. Fill my life with blessings according to Your will. I thank You for Your great mercy and pray in the name of Jesus, Amen.
