Come join me on an overnight adventure that takes me to two beautiful alpine lakes and a hike up New Mexico's tallest mountain, Wheeler Peak. I did this trip on Wed Oct 2nd and Thur Oct 3rd 2019. The Wheeler Peak Wilderness is on the Carson National Forest between Taos and Red River, New Mexico.
