I love discovering local musicians playing local music. This group called KalSaHara (short for Kalipay sa Harana or Happiness in Harana) just popped up at the resort were staying in Bohol. And I was actually amazed by their musicality, their ensemble playing and their musicianship. The arrangements and vocal harmonizations are wonderful. We really do need to support our local musicians who play local music.
Balik sa Bohol (Come Back to Bohol) somewhat became somewhat of an unofficial tourism anthem because of its welcoming and friendly message. The vaunted Philippine hospitality is very much reflected in the song. If you know the composer, please write it down on the comments below.
