PLEASE NOTE: this lesson is in Hatch Embroidery 2 software so you can learn hatch embroidery basics, BUT you will be able to follow along in any software - all you need are copy and paste, lettering and motif stitches. Machine embroidery basics for any software!

Nayda Klein creates some gorgeous designs! She created this stunning machine embroidery applique design, and asked me to do a video on how she created it so we can share the secrets of this embroidery design!

The design is a large applique letter that looks stunning with the detail work including lines and some small motifs. Nayda used silk fabric for the applique. I didn't have any silk fabric to duplicate her design, so I decided to bling it up and change it around a bit!

Have you ever heard of variegated thread? How about Metallic thread? WHAT IF YOU PUT THE TWO TOGETHER AND GET VARIEGATED METALLIC THREAD? Yep, this does exist. This thread is gorgeous and gives the whole design shimmer and shine as well as a holographic kind of look.
