Custom Ear Tips for AirPods Pro - Are they any good?

AirPods Pro is one of the most popular wireless EarBuds in the world.
Of course, their biggest selling features are noise canceling and the iconic design. Literally, everyone has them. If you have an iPhone, there is a 99% of chance that you do own AirPods or AirPods Pro.
Recently apple released AirPods Pro second generation - with an even better noise reduction algorithm. But if you already own AirPods Pro 1 and you don’t want to spend another 279 dollars on a new pair you can easily customize and improve your AirPods Pro just by changing the Ear Tips.

As you already know inside your AirPods Pro box you always have 3 types of Ear Tips: Small, Medium and Large. Standard Ear Tips are not bad but a lot of people are saying that they are not very comfortable to wear.

Some time ago on AliExpress.com I found Sponge Foam Ear Pads for AirPods Pro in black color - and I ordered them.

First of all, I think the design looks very unusual, and with black ear tips, your AirPods will look really different. The second thing is their material - it's made of a nice foam sponge texture so it's kinda more comfortable to wear than your standard silicon Ear Tips.

The last thing worth mentioning is their fit inside the ears. I'm running quite often with my AirPods Pro, and sometimes they are slipping out of my ears. Since I changed my ear tips to these custom ones I never had this issue again. EarPods are fixed very securely inside my ears and are not falling away even when I'm running.
If you're doing any kind of sports activities with your AirPods Pro, it's a really good idea to change your ear tips to this form material.

Obviously, by changing the ear tips, you will not be able to improve the sound quality but when it comes to noise canceling I would say that foam material isolates 10 to 15% better than the standard silicon.
