Light and Darkness are PEOPLE Not Things

Woe Unto Them Whom DARKNESS has BLINDED

We will see here a PATTERN, that LIGHT and DARKNESS are not PHYSICAL properties but rather SPIRITUAL entities!

Yeshua - The LIGHT of the World
His Bride (Us) - REFLECTS His LIGHT
Satan - The god of DARKNESS, and his “angels TRANSFORM themselves into angels of LIGHT) - (but they are NOT of THE Light)

Ephesians 5:13-14 (KJV)
13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. 14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

And do we not see even from Genesis that HE was (and IS) The Light? For the FIRST light was not the SUN but rather The SON!

Genesis 1:2-4 (KJV)
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

And without the LIGHT, we see that the FIRST thing that Yah does is to bring LIGHT!

And that HE as The LIGHT always DIVIDES us from DARKNESS!

Revelation 21:22-24 (KJV)
22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. 23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. 24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.


But conversely, Do we see from this how that DARKNESS (Satan) is what “blinds” us?

1 John 2:9-11 (KJV)9 He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now. 10 He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. 11 But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.


And that the “prince of darkness” works IN that Darkness to BLIND the MINDS of the UNBELIEVER to KEEP them in that state?

2 Corinthians 4:3-4 (KJV)
3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

And see below that it is often our “doctrine” or “religion” or the idols of “I think, I feel and I believe” that also “BLIND” us to the TRUTH? For does not the Scripture say that HE is the “Way, The Truth and the LIFE”? And also that HE is “The LIGHT”?

So, if these things mentioned above BLIND us, … what (or rather WHOM) do they BLIND us from? The Messiah, Yeshua!

2 Corinthians 3:12-18 (KJV)
12 Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: 13 And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:

14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.

15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. 16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.

And we see below that DARKNESS not only BLINDS but is also BINDS (puts into bondage and slavery):

17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

And HE as “The LIGHT” will eventually REVEAL all things for what they TRULY are:

1 Corinthians 4:5 (KJV)
5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.
