Former Bihar chief minister Rabri Devi on Monday joined RJD leaders to demand cash relief for women in the state including free electricity for upto 200 units during a protest outside the state assembly.
Former Bihar CM Lalu Prasad Yadav's wife who is currently embroiled in the land-for-jobs scam, said:"Women should get 2500...200 unit electricity should be made free...this is the demand of the people...pension for widows was Rs 400, it should be 1,500 now...gas cylinder should be Rs 500."
A Delhi court last week had summoned former Bihar CM Lalu Prasad and some of his family members, including his wife Rabri Devi, her two sons and two daughters, in connection with the land-for-jobs 'scam'.
