Welcome to Part 12 of my N8n Training Course!
In this lesson you’ll learn what Email Delivery Platforms (EDPs) are (Brevo, Mailchimp, SendGrid, Amazon SES), why we use them instead of consumer inboxes (Gmail/Outlook rate limits), and how to send transactional emails from N8n using Brevo. We’ll finish with an end-to-end task: read an incoming email, draft a personalized AI reply, and send it via Brevo.

AI Agent (OpenAI Chat Model) – Prompt (Define Below):
Personal addressing using the sender’s name
2-sentence summary of the received email
Add: “I’ll respond in person when I am back from vacation.”

Brevo → Send a transactional email

💡 Tips & Notes
EDPs vs Gmail/Outlook: consumer inboxes are rate-limited and may block automations; EDPs are built for scale.
In Brevo, keep your API key secure; store credentials in N8n’s credential vault.
For production deliverability, set up SPF/DKIM on your sending domain (Brevo → Domain authentication).
Use Execute Step to preview node inputs/outputs and confirm expressions (e.g., $node["gmail-trigger"].data.from).
Consider a safety filter (e.g., only auto-reply to external senders, ignore no-reply addresses).
