This month I tried a true Guinness WORLD FIRST collab for Global Scouse Day at Ma Boyle’s Alehouse & Eatery – four brand-new Guinness dishes created especially for Global Scouse Month in Liverpool. From rich Guinness stew to creative twists on classic Scouse, this limited-edition collaboration celebrates one of the city’s most iconic dishes in true Liverpool style. This exclusive menu is available until 11 March so definitely check it out if you're in the city and love your comfort food! (PR/gifted)

We also headed to The Elephant for what might be the best crispy chilli beef I’ve ever tasted, finally visited Simone’s – Liverpool’s hottest new cocktail club (open since October 2025), and returned to Hummingbird for my favourite bourbon cocktail in the city (Smooth Sailing definitely recommend if you like Bourbon).

There’s also a stop at Petit Café for their limited-edition Pistachio Parisian Hot Chocolate and house cocktails (PR/Gifted), a first look at the Permit Room x Sister Ray collaboration event ahead of Permit Room Liverpool opening on 5 March, plus highlights from Lightport in Southport – the first event of Southport’s 2026 Year of Culture.
