Under DG FIA Riffat Mukhtar Raja’s leadership, a strong internal accountability process is underway. Over the past two months, 12 officers — including inspectors and clerks from Lahore, Islamabad, and Faisalabad — have been dismissed for corruption, poor investigation, and absenteeism. Two inspectors were demoted, while others received minor punishments. DG FIA reaffirmed that there’s no place for negligence or corruption in the agency, and only strict accountability can help eliminate human smuggling and internal misconduct.
