In this video, you'll learn how to make an investment portfolio tracker in Excel. This is split into stock investments, ETF investments, alternatives (including Bitcoin, gold, and silver) and liquid cash holdings. All of the prices will update automatically, including the market value, the current price, and the gains or losses, both in dollar terms and in percentage terms. We will also have a breakdown of the key metrics, including the number of holdings, the allocation by asset class to see how diversified we are, and the top five holdings. Finally, we'll create some charts and visuals, including some conditional formatting and a pie chart for the allocation by asset class and a bar chart for the top five holdings.
