The Parliament’s committees of Gender and Finance have approved a proposal allowing savers with NSSF to continuously receive their retirement benefits on a monthly basis.
This is contrary to the provisions in the NSSF Act where a saver upon retirement is given their benefits in a lump-sum.
The MPs argued that many of the savers who get their lump-sum benefits do not benefit from it.
